Dominican Republic trip

Merlyn and my Dad are headed to the Domican Republic (D.R.) tomorrow morning for the Cross Point mission trip.  We’ve been finishing their packing today and getting them ready to leave the house at 4:25 AM tomorrow morning.  There are about 17 people from Cross Point going on this trip and they are going to have a great time.  They will be continuing the construction of the church and feeding center that Cross Point supports there in Santiago.  I had the privilege of going on this trip last July and had an amazing time.  It’s an honor to be a part of what God is doing in this country.

Be praying for this group this week.  I can’t wait to hear their stories!

By the way, did you know that 10% of all giving at Cross Point goes to support our missions efforts?  This includes local missions efforts with organizations like Safe Haven Family Shelter and Preston Taylor Ministries, regional mission projects and our oversees partnership in the D.R.  Even if you can’t take an oversees trip, you are a part of what is happening by your faithful giving to Cross Point – Thank you!

Here are some pics of last July’s trip.
