Hillsong Cornerstone

Ever since I was a little girl I have loved devouring music.  Whether it was Disco Duck on LP, Sha Na Na on cassette or Boyz II Men on CD (don’t judge – you listened to some crazy stuff too!), I would lock myself in my bedroom and play that record until I memorized all the lyrics and could sing every note.

Of course I don’t have the luxury of continuous hours of music absorption these days, but I still have a tendency to camp out with new music until I feel like I’ve really taken it in.

That’s what I’ve been doing with the new Hillsong Live “Cornerstone” album.  It just released a couple of weeks ago and I have been letting it play in the background during my morning prep and drive time.

I’ll be honest… it’s not one of my favorite Hillsong records but it’s definitely a great worship album to help calibrate your day.

If I had to pick a favorite, “I Surrender” would be it.  I’m loving that song the more and more I live with it.
