We have an amazing team!

Well, we made it through 6 Easter services at Cross Point – 4 services in Nashville and 2 services in Dickson.  Both campuses had great attendance and altogether approximately 2500 people celebrated Easter at Cross Point – unbelievable!

I was so proud of our team this weekend!  I spent the weekend at the Nashville campus and was privileged to see over 200 volunteers commit their weekend to create an environment where people could worship and celebrate the resurrection of our Savior.  Some of these volunteers served for all 4 services plus rehearsal time.  It’s humbling, honoring and exciting to see them give up their holiday weekend because they understand the significance of helping people take another step in their walk with Christ.

I was also so proud of our staff.  We are fortunate to have some truly talented individuals on the Cross Point staff.  Jarrod, Matt and Miranda deserve the highest praise for the countless hours they put in over the last few weeks planning our Easter worship service.  These guys continue to amaze me.  They aren’t afraid to try new things and they push themselves to do whatever it takes to create meaningful worship moments.

The rest of the staff stepped up to help in any way they could above and beyond their usual responsibilities – Ashley even put tires on the golf cart shuttle herself!  (I wish I had a picture of that!)  Chad led the Dickson services and Pastor Tom went to Dickson to be a part of the celebration there.  Pat, Wendy & Julie created great experiences for our kids, Bryan recruited the parking team in spite of not feeling well, Jack was on hand to take care of offering and Ryan was with the team in the Dominican Republic worshiping with our sister church there.

I am blessed to get to do this!
