The Power of Team
One of the best parts of my job is working with our staff at Cross Point.
When I started here three years ago there were six of us on staff. Now we number 15 and will be closer to 20 by the end of the year. It’s amazing how things have changed and grown, but what I love about our team is the camaraderie we share.
I’ve been in the work force long enough to know that this kind of chemistry doesn’t happen by accident and it’s a rare treasure when you have a team of people who are committed to the cause, committed to one another and have a lot of fun in the process – that’s the Cross Point Staff.
As many of you have read, another amazing individual will be joining us very soon. Anne Jackson and her husband Chris will be moving to Nashville this month and Anne will be joining the Cross Point staff. We are thrilled to add Anne to our team and know that she will quickly become a part of this amazing group of people that I am privileged to do life with each day.
Oftentimes in the busyness of our days I neglect to show my appreciation to this staff as much as I should.

Tell us about your team. What do you love about your staff?
This is an amazing team. I love each and everyone of them. Great people using their gifts and passions to make CrossPoint the way God designed.
Crosspoint truly seems like a once-in-a-lifetime team. Maybe even “The Dream Team”!!
My “team” is my hubby and me. Once a week, we have an MD that comes into the office, but besides that, it’s just the two of us. We are together A LOT so we are learning how to be a better team as we work together. Anyone who is a hubby/wife team in their business is WELCOME to send me their comments, thoughts, ideas, etc. We pray daily for God to guide us through this process because it is HARD sometimes!!
Lori, I admire that you and your husband can work together. I’ve always wondered if Merlyn and I would really be able to do that??!!

I’m a little jealous…but SO excited for you guys.
My Women’s Ministry team is the coolest thing I have ever been a part of. There are five of us. We have been together for around five years. We are all different ages, have different passions, different giftings, and different personalities but God has built our trust for each other and given us the same heart and vision for our relationship with Him and His people. It is so exciting and wonderful to see Him unify us and knit our hearts together.
I am a little jealous of Cross Point, like Judi, because it would be so cool to have that with men and women together. I am very thankful for what I do have though.
