Sunday Highlights & Monday too…
Yesterday I had the rare privilege to attend another church… to actually worship… to not work… to see God at work in another environment…
What a treasure!
My sister and I headed to Atlanta for a quick sister getaway and spent our morning at Buckhead Church. Jeff Henderson and team are doing an amazing job influencing this city for Christ! Jeff and Los were incredibly genuine and hospitable and Andy Stanley delivered a great message about listening to the voice of wisdom. It’s been a long time since I was able to sit in a service on Sunday and completely soak in the worship and teaching. Thank you guys for the opportunity to worship with you!
Back home at the ranch I’m told our Xmas series got off to a great start. Yeah, I know… you are freaking out about Xmas (no Christ! in Christmas GASP), it’s ok, trust me... go listen to Pete’s message.
And today our Creative Director Matt Singleton and his wife delivered their new baby girl, Emma Delane. I’m sure Matt will blog all the details soon!

I would appreciate some prayers as I add some leadership responsibilities to my plate. I’m currently leading our “nexgen” ministries (children, students, college) with a staff of 4. I’ve added some Admin/Executive responsibilities this week (budget, big picture systems, stewardship team) with a team of 4. Plus I’m on our teaching team as well. So…maybe you should pray for my assistant!
