"Just One of Them Days" [sigh]

I’m having “one of those days”…

One of those I-need-to-crawl-back-into-bed-and-start-all-over days.

Don’t worry – nothing bad has happened. I just can’t pull it together today.

And that almost makes it worse.  I don’t have anything to be upset about.

I haven’t just spent a week with impoverished children in India, I didn’t just get the news that I have a couple of tumors and have to have emergency surgery, I didn’t just lose my job…

…just a few things that friends of mine have faced this week.

And yet I’m miss fussy pants today.

I hate these days, but I’ll snap out of it – I PROMISE!

PS – Anyone else hearing the lyrics to Monica’s “Just One of Them Days” 🙂

Best way to fight ‘fussy pants’ is to stay in PJs all day watching girl movies on the couch, snuggling with Mick. I know Merlyn would not be still long enough to snuggle. 😉 You are on the go so much that its ok to be M.I.A. for a day.

jenni…we ALL get these days…it’s not a “female” thing or a “guy” thing, it’s just a human thing. EVERY thing can be in our favor and on our side, and that can’t keep us from having a “fussy” day or time.

but guess what? it DOES help us keep things in perspective! it DOES make us realize what things are RIGHT, especially when nothing seems ultimately WRONG at the moment. keeps us real, keeps us human, allows us to be sympathetic to others…maybe not today, but when we need to be…when the compassion needs to roll on through for other, you’ll be ready. and i’m willing to bet, someone has shown YOU compassion today, whether they knew about your “fussy” day or not.

    LOVE YOU!

Sure hope your over all this stuff before I get in the office this morning. 🙂 Just kidding, just kidding.

As you know, I have my fair share of these days. Sometimes, they seem to happen with no rhyme or reason.

    Deep breaths….
