You Gotta Love the Uniform
Yesterday the Nashville Metro Police Drill & Ceremony Team took
1st place in the Honor Guard Competition for
Police Week in Washington, D.C.
I’m so proud of these guys for representing Nashville so well at Police Week festivities! They spent hundreds of hours rehearsing and preparing for this competition. (It wasn’t uncommon for me to come home to drill team rifles scattered around my house 🙂 … Don’t worry. They’re not loaded and we don’t have children in the house.)
This week these guys will be thanked, honored and celebrated for how they serve. And they will also morn, grieve and honor officers who gave their life in the line of duty.
I’m so thankful for them!
**My husband is the third from the right holding the larger trophy.
Wow, congrats to your husband and his team! My 20 year old son is interested in applying with the police dept. He told me recently that he doesn’t just want to work at some boring job, but he wants to use his life to serve and make a difference. That brought tears to my eyes. I’m praying God will continue to direct him.
You have the CUTEST MAN OUT THERE JENNI!!!!!!!!!! CONGRATS TO THOSE MEN!!!!!
