Another “Bucket List” Item
Totally was a HUGE day at Cross Point! I’ll be sharing my highlights and notes from the day first thing tomorrow.
But in addition to some big news about the vision and direction of our church, I got to cross another item off of my “bucket list.”
I’ve been dieing to take a hot air balloon ride for as long as I can remember and today I got my chance. Jay McComb from our Cross Point North Campus took Merlyn and I up, up and away! We were hoping to land at the site of the Cross Point North Campus picnic, but unfortunately the winds didn’t cooperate for me to make my grand entrance.
Either way, it was amazing!

that was amazing!! When we lived in Az. It was hard for me to realize hot air balloons are everywhere. I would go out in my yard and see 3 or 4. Greg surprised me one year on my bday with a ride it was great. Glad you got to do it!! Nice touch with th squad car haha!
@Heidi C – It was extremely peaceful when he wasn’t pulling the burner for hot air. Somehow all of my footage included the noise. 🙂
I’ve also always wanted to do this! Looks amazing – so glad you were able to make it happen. Now, next, I think is getting your jaguar? 🙂
Hmmm….i guess teaching worship leaders in other countries. which i’ll do next week to start off.
I am so jealous. I bet your sister is to. This is something we have both talked about. Did not see the video. Will have to look for it.
