All I Want for Christmas

The Gift of Time…

That’s all I want for Christmas.

Time to celebrate with family and friends.

Time to enjoy the decorating, baking and holiday preparation.

Time to shop for the perfect gift for all those on my list.

Time to reflect.

Time to read a good book.

Time to cozy up by the fire and watch White Christmas.

Time to dream, plan, and strategize the New Year.

Time to blog, journal and write.

Time.

If you received the gift of time, how would you spend it?

Probably sleeping. And watching boxsets. And hanging out with friends more. Maybe put my laundry away…

If time was my present I would do three things:
    1. spend time snuggling with my three girls and little man while watching movies at the theatre or house.
    2. I would spend sometime just hanging out with my wife without the kiddos. Hard to come by since the baby is a month old, but it would be very appealling.
    3. Spend sometime just waiting and resting in the Lord. When I do it, it is always refreshing and encouraging, yet the time never seems to be there.
