Sunday Highlights – Special Announcement

Today at Cross Point we continued the series This is Our God with a message from Blake about God’s Sovereignty.  It was such a powerful reminder of God’s greatness. That He does reign.  In spite of our circumstances… in spite of whether we believe it to be true… God is sovereign.

He reigns!

My day involved sharing an exciting announcement with our Dickson Campus.  For several months we have been praying and interviewing, interviewing and praying for God to bring us our next Campus Pastor for this campus.  Today I was able to announce that Willy Maxwell will be joining our team as our Dickson Campus Pastor!

Willy Maxwell comes to Cross Point from Billings, Montana where he serves as the Multisite Ministries Pastor for Harvest Church. In that role, he has overseen the development and launch of two additional campuses.  Prior to that, Willy served as the Campus Pastor of Harvest’s Lockwood Campus, which was it’s first multi-site campus started in 2008.

Willy graduated from Dickinson State University in North Dakota with a degree in General Studies with an emphasis in Political Science and History.  He has also completed studies for a masters degree in Christian Ministry Leadership for Crown College in Minnesota.

Willy’s passion is to see communities changed through the transfer of DNA from healthy churches via multi-site strategies, and for the campus to have a God-sized impact on it’s community.

He is married to Shay Maxwell and they have three children: Tayci, Taylin & Gavin.  Outside of the church and family, Willy is a sports fanatic, and loves coaching and officiating.
